Ugly World, Ugly Grythengen and Ugly People
Another ugliness of our time is disrespect, bad behavior, no manners , no politeness, no kindness...

A lot more rudeness, mean behavior, bullying in the real world, even random people on the streets, harassment, littering, vandalism almost everywhere .... indifference and social coldness...
This is also a mirror of mind, heart and soul of humans and the condition they are live in. - beatewagner7.2934
Sounds like Norway. We move to France to find a nice village to live out our lives as beauty cultists.

Best thing said about these times: the energy out there is gone. No excitement, no sense of community, no curiosity, no space to make mistakes or explore. There’s a fine or a ticket for everything. Your peers will cancel you if you say something different than the norm-speak. Utterly conquered people. - ericaepperson8928
Absolutely. I walk around the neighbourhood of an evening and I feel like a ghost. There's a few regulars. But even they are reluctant to engage with others. There used to be a LOT more people out and about, and we would all interact. Even if just a quick smile or head nod. Nothing anymore. It's a lonely, isolating and totally unfulfulling existence in suburbia these days. - bigchief2331
People have become soulless. Jealous, petty and deceptive. - sirmisterman
Micheal, so many people feel the same way, myself included. To some extent we're all becoming prisoners in our own homes. Living just a normal, standard existence is almost beyond reach. The very energy to exist has been taken from us. It's a miserable age we are living in. The 60s and 70s, whatever the political backdrop, seemed to be two decades of fun, laughter and joy. That's all gone. Where it's all heading I couldn't say, but I don't see things getting better. Very sad times indeed. Take care. - adamhughes4442
I'm 31 and also in Australia and absolutely FED UP with everything in the world today. I am pissed off and angry all the time. Don't want to go to shopping centres or supermarkets, just temples of mindless consumerism. I used to enjoy shopping for nice ingredients, now the prices and greed everywhere just makes me angry. Only relief for me is going for a 5-10km run every day. But the world is F'd and only going to get worse, I really don't know what to make of things anymore. Life has no vibrancy or excitement to it anymore, things used to be much better. - bigchief2331
I did everything I was told to do. Played sports, got good grades, went to a good university. Ended up graduating into a recession with a worthless degree. Broke my back (literally) working manual labor to get by, and from sports related injuries. I've been laid off 5 times in the last four years. My only option is to go back to school to get an advanced degree and hope I can find a decent job. Didn't work the first time around, not sure if I can muster the energy to give it another go.
6 months ago I left my girlfriend of 10 years, she wanted kids and marriage, I couldn't afford it. I was told by 5 neurosurgeons there is nothing they can do to help my back injury. I quit my shitty minimum wage job, and moved into my car. Life a scam, humans are wage slaves for the elites. The fed creates money from nothing. The central bankers enslave the world with fiat and usury. Religions psychologically control the masses. If you don't agree with them and follow along you go to jail, are persecuted, or killed in war. This place is hell. I decided I'm going to do whatever the fuck I want until my time is up. - nyegye1606
